You must uninstall the previous version and install KMD WorkZone Client 2018.2. Important: WorkZone Client configurations created in WorkZone Client 2017 or earlier versions are no longer possible to migrate, and they will be lost when you upgrade WorkZone Client to version 2018.1. This is a consequence of the fundamental dashboard improvement and new functionalities introduced in release 2018. WorkZone Client configurations created in WorkZone Client 2018.0 will be maintained after the upgrade except the settings applied to dashboard and navigation pane. This is a consequence of the multiple dashboard functionality introduced in release 2018.1 Configurations created with WorkZone Client 2018.1 and newer will be retained fully. Important: When you access the KMD WorkZone Client from a client after upgrade from an earlier version than KMD WorkZone Client 2016, you need to clear the browser cache. This only happened if there were many defined contact types and the full range of numbers (1-9) had also been used as the Contact Code for the contact type. When saving the ribbon configuration globally after repeatedly editing the ribbon configuration by removing visibility for contact types that were configured with a single-digit number as Contact Code, WorkZone Client could not be reloaded and the ribbon was blocked for editing. This has been fixed and editing the ribbon will not freeze the . Note The Contact Code is defined in WorkZone Configurator > Contact > Contact Types New configuration export/import functionality Previously, for WorkZone 2020.1 and earlier, all users were able to import configurations of all types from the database into their active WorkZone Client configuration. Due to the potentially confusing set up regarding import of configurations, this led to some configuration import errors, as configurations were imported incorrectly or into unintended configuration types. As a consequence, the import functionality was re-designed and the export/import options of configurations were limited to users assigned the CONFIGADM access code only. However, the WorkZone Development team has been made aware that users have reported the ability to import other user's configurations into their own Personal configurations was sorely missed. Now, users that are not assigned the CONFGIGADM access code can export and import Personal configuration files from the file system into their own Personal configuration only. Importing configurations into other configuration types (Organizational, Unit, etc) still requires the CONFIGADM access code. Users that are assigned the CONFIGADM access code can, in addition to all other configuration export and import rights, export and import Personal configurations into their own and the original owner's Personal configuration. ============================================================================= Bugs fixed in version 2020.3 Hotfix 2 ============================================================================= Saved searches from previous versions could not be edited Saved searches created in previous versions of Workzone that queried for a specific case category could not be edited after upgrading to WorkZone 2020.3. Now, you can edit your saved case category searches after upgrading to WorkZone 2020.3.
